at least according to me, and I have excellent taste when hungry. The plate arrived looking like it had been styled by a food influencer who moonlights as a magician. The salad greens were so fresh they practically tried to escape, the chips were crisp enough to signal passing aircraft, and the sandwich—oh, the sandwich—was stacked so high it required its own building permit.
Halfway through, I entered that blissful state known as “lunchtime enlightenment,” where everything seems profound, especially the sauce. I considered writing it a thank-you letter. By the final bite, I was convinced this meal had improved my personality. If all lunches were this good, world peace would be achievable by Friday.
