the mullum eye

Dawn bleeds crimson across the marble sky, painting heaven’s canvas in whispered rose and violet. The mighty obelisk pierces upward like a stone prayer, its ancient spine reflected in the mirror pool that stretches endlessly forward. Water becomes sky, sky becomes dream, as the reflecting pool cradles the monument’s twin in liquid glass.

Bare winter trees stand sentinel along emerald lawns, their skeletal branches reaching toward the blushing firmament. Street lamps bloom like earthbound stars, casting golden halos that dance upon the water’s surface. This sacred avenue breathes with morning’s first light, where marble monuments and nature’s cathedral merge in perfect symmetry. Time suspends itself here, caught between earth’s embrace and heaven’s infinite promise, while shadows and light perform their eternal ballet.
